The Building Process - Window / Door Framing- continued


Door Rough Opening


Interior door rough opening with wood wrapping installed. The rough opening framing is the same as framing a window opening only with no bottom track or "cripples".





Exterior Door Opening

Exterior door rough opening with wood wrapping installed. The rough opening framing is the same as framing a window opening only with no bottom track or "cripples". The door shown was purchased without extended jambs and the Interior portion of the jambs will be built by the finish carpenters.
