Block Foundation ready for column openings to be formed and poured

Concrete block crawl space foundation shown with missing 4" solid cap blocks at the locations where anchor bolts will be located. This allows the anchor bolt areas to be formed and poured solid with concrete all the way to the footer.

Steel track, 1"x 6" or scrap plywood is fasten to the front and back of the openings prior to pouring the spaces solid. An even stronger method is to pour a solid concrete bond beam along the entire top of the foundation.
