Step 1: If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, download it now.

Step 2: Go to the desired Standard Model Specifications page and locate the "PDF" icon as shown. Right-click over the icon and select "Save Target As" to save the file to your computer.
(Note: If you wish to view and not download the .PDF online, please be patient. It could take 30 seconds to 2 minutes before you see anything, depending on your connection speed. The average file size is approximately 500 KB.)

Step 3: In order to print "to scale," locate the "Shrink oversized pages to paper size" option in Adobe Acrobat Reader's Print menu as shown. Make sure this option in not "checked".
( Acrobat's Print Menu will vary per version. Study the available Options to find the correct method.)

Step 4: Either mark-up the existing layouts with white-out and pen for minor modifications or draw on the blank layouts from the begining. Take notice of the dark spots on the layouts. These are where vertical columns are placed, which make up part of the red-iron frames. Most of these columns are placed in the exterior walls, but occasionally in interior walls. For cost reasons, some things that cannot be changed are: overall dimensions, column locations, ceiling height, and roof pitch. If the cost savings is not an issue and you would like your custom home based off a standard home, then there is practically no restrictions.

Note: Although some of our Standard Model blank layouts show a given exterior wall configuration, this is not locked in concrete. Despite the columns being fixed, you can alter the exterior walls to some degree. The exterior walls shown are to get you started in the right direction. Here are a few possible variations shown.
