Arxx Accessories

For the majority of homes, Excalibur Steel Structures utilizes the 6" Form. As seen above, this is composed of an interior 2 5/8" EPS Foam Insulation layer, a 6 1/4" Concrete core reinforced with steel bar ( rebar ), and an exterior 2 5/8" EPS Foam Insulation layer ( 11 1/2" overall ). This size gives more than adequate strength for all the load requirements (including violent winds), both below grade and above grade. This size also gives our clients a wonderful R-50 equivalent for their walls. For some 2-story Arxx homes atop an Arxx basement, Excalibur will sometimes use the 8" Form for the basement, and the 6" Form for the above grade walls.
